It's Official: Tenney Mountain Opens December 6th!
OPENING DAY: Saturday, December 6th
The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here—Tenney Mountain officially opens for the season on Saturday, December 6th! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back for Opening Weekend.
Here’s what to expect when you arrive this weekend:
🚠 Lifts Start Spinning at 9:00 AM
Join us at the Hornet Double for first chair, a celebratory banner drop, music, and that Opening Day energy we all love.
🏔️ Trails Open From the Summit
We’re thrilled to offer top-to-bottom skiing and riding off the summit, including:
Edelweiss – Green Circle (Beginner)
Shooting Star – Blue Square (Intermediate)
Lights Out – Black Diamond (Expert)
Blizzard’s Bailout – Green Circle (Beginner)
That’s four trails to kick off the season — plus a Mini Park built at the bottom of Lights Out.
🧤 When You Arrive
Make your way upstairs to our beautiful lodge—boot up, get settled, and store your bag downstairs. PLEASE keep all bags downstairs on one of our bag storage racks.
Make sure you have your lift ticket or season pass – Guest Service can help you on the first floor of the lodge. Then head out and enjoy all the Opening Day action.
When you’re ready for a break, swing back into the lodge or the Witch's Hat for amazing food, warm drinks, and sweet treats. Feel like shopping? Our Retail Store has some fresh Tenney Swag ready to go!
📅 Opening Weekend Operations
We’ll be open:
Saturday, December 6th
Sunday, December 7th
After the weekend, we’ll pause operations midweek to make even more snow and expand terrain, reopening full-time on Saturday, December 13th.
Please follow our new Daily Snow Report. This will keep you informed every day with snow conditions and trail status, not just when we send emails.
