I didn't, I was just listing rope tow areas in New England which are still operating. The OP's instructions weren't really clear, so I thought that's part of what he was looking for.

I've skied all these rope or handle tow areas.
I didn't ride the rope at Osceola. Rode a Suburban several times instead.
Haven't ridden the longer rope at Mt Eustis but skied off the top via a snowmobile lift.

Ski Venture ski club in upstate NY. Skied it in the nineties, had a rope tow that went extremely fast, almost dangerously so. Was a lot of fun as a teenager. As much fun going up as coming down. I think they've slowed it down since, but I can't swear to it.

Wow that was 2016? That’s hard to believe. Time flys.
No lost areas that I can recall, unless any of the above get added. I saw the Simsbury Ski Club running several times but didn’t ski there. I think I sledded there. Hey I had to be well under 10..
Not to many Nelsap areas under my belt unlike JS and many other SJers. Ooh ooh another possible new/old thread??

My front yard has a 750 foot fiber rope tow with 210 verticle feet. I extended the tow by 120 feet. I'm out in Mansfield PA.

It my private tow.visitors are welcome but very few have visited. I have 44 acres. The lines are the new trails and the tow line.

That's my 1/3rd mile long driveway that rises 240 feet. My house it at top. The tow ends 5 feet from my house.

I use the PTO off my 1958 Massy Ferguson tractor. Yes with tow extesioni have a lot more woods. More powder than I can track out in a day. I have lights on the mails slope. Using solar parking lot lights on The new section.
