Yesterday I hiked Adams Mountain and descended through the old Evergreen Valley Ski Area. The trails are mostly grown in, but it is pretty easy to tell where they were. The footings from the main chairlift are also very visible. The lodge is still in remarkably good shape.

Does someone use/maintain the base lodge? That's remarkable condition considering it's been NELSAP for almost 40 years.

It seems like it, I was thinking the same thing.

I'm like you Sam , I guess I would go by a no trespassing sign and talk my way out of it before I would duck a rope skiing. Had to park the car behind a newish gate at Craigmeur. Being county owned doesn't bother me. The taxpayer" owns" it

I actually came down the old ski trails and approached the lodge from the back where there were no signs except the ones on the building. The building was sealed up pretty well, and the photo of the lobby I took was through a window.

I watched a video made by a couple of teen girls walking around the lodge. I saw it a few years ago. My guess is, it was made over a decade after the resort closed. They went through unlocked doors or broken full length windows. The interior was like the day after a regular open day only hundreds of days later. I don't recall what platform I saw it on.

I did a hike around there perhaps 5-8 years ago and don't recall no trespassing signs. I wonder if those are new or if I forgot. You can still see the old food prices on the board?

I didn't look into that area, but I wouldn't be surprised if the prices were still there.
