A private chairlift built out of old t-bar parts!!!

I got it to work, that is amazing. This makes me want to build my own lift.  ;))

They certainly have the spirit! How cool.

All you need is an old Doppelmayr t-bar, welding skills, mechanical know-how, and an incline!

Oh yeah, also an army surplus engine and large rocks for counter weights! :D

Where is it and how much vertical?  I bet that the video makes it look bigger than it is.

I love the design of the chair; not just no safety bar, there’s no back either! :D

The old J-Bar at Bromley could be ridden as an ersatz chairlift of this ilk for most of the ride if one pulled his legs up.

It does look at little sketchy - especially those rocks for counterweights, but either way still really cool and resourceful!

Having a private chairlift over some really fun terrain on a decent vertical would be heaven.
