Posted: Oct 27, 2006 - 3:55 AM GMT I checked with my dad this evening about Bousquet's. Despite some poor snow years in the 1970s and changes in ownership in the 1980s, Bousquet's remained open during those years. As I said in an earlier post, I remembered that my parents spoke about a year in which conditions were so poor that Bousquet's never opened. That was probably sometime in the late 1940s. The ski area didn't "go NELSAP" then, though. Technically, Bousquet's was "open" for the season...there just wasn't enough cold weather and snow to make skiing worthwhile.
