I haven't seen the latest article, but I did find this older one & really enjoyed it. It captures "a day at Magic." The movie is great - love the flock of seaguls song! It gives it a nice Hotdog feel. Check it out.
Magic made Ski Magazine in September 1968, in a short article called "Ski's Editors Pick 12 'Discovery' Resorts", as follows:
"MAGIC MOUNTAIN, Vermont
"This is an artfully composed mountain that very seldom has a liftline of any consequence, a practically miraculous circumstance for the "Route 100 cluster" of areas in southern Vermont. The mountain has a double chair with trails up to two miles long; some long pitches are as continuously steep as anything in the north country, especially on Magician. Twilight is a beautiful and demanding glade run. At the bottom of the mountain is a fine dance-and-bar day lodge and there are two Swiss-style lodges within walking distance of the lift, so you can let your car sit all week."
