I still haven't heard that the deal closed.

I suppose back taxes and other liens could be holding things up.

More reports of radio ads for Magic running a week after they closed (as recently as this past Sunday.)

Nothing like a Magic thread to stir up the hornets nest on this board.

I couldn't agree more! But please be aware that "wizard" may possibly be "uppernotmaster"

Not to be confused with "Heresy".

Since you're the man in the know, has Grampa made good on what he owes so he can sell it? Last I heard, the courts say "No". I can think of at least a couple of people closely connected to this board who are still looking to get paid...

JD, do you have IPs on these guys? While I'm not fully convinced either way, I do wonder if a marketing guy would really partake in conversations like wizard has...while negative PR isn't necessarily bad PR all of the time (still gets your name out there), I think the talk on the board is really hurting Magic's brand...if I were in marketing there, I'd in the very least be trying to distinguish the negative talk...seems that if anything, the coals keep getting stirred up.
