According to local news(NYC) a chair derailed at Mountain Creek today due to the high winds. Said customers had to wait at least 20 minutes for rescue.

when I saw "chairlift" I thought that to be very odd...normally the only thing running on weekdays this time of year is the cabriolet...so I checked the site, and surprise, they're only running one lift: the old fixed grip triple to the summit.

This article (Asbury Park Press) states its the gondi, as well as one from the AP. My guess is that when you checked the site it was after the fact and the triple was the alternate.
