Shades of Bill Johnson, though Dane is a current USST member:

U.S. skier seriously injured in Montana (CBC.ca)

Let's all wish him a speedy recovery! I used to race with Dane as a junior racer in the Intermountain Division, and he's had a few tough breaks these past few seasons.
