Was over in StJ & Lyndon visiting relatives. Since it was such a beautiful morning we decided to drive over to Burke and up the toll road. We first stopped at the Sherburne Base Lodge to see if there was any activity regarding the new HSQ that will be going in in place of the Sherburne Double. No signs of life yet. Then up the toll road to the *almost* top of the mountain (the official summit is a hundred or so yards away up by the fire tower).

good call getting photos of the double before it joins the lost chairlift realm. don't suppose any other ski areas have any use for a slow short half of a double double lift! i wonder if they plan on keeping the jbar?

BETSY-------i loved the burke shots! especially the 6th one!nice! we just got back from **old orchard beach** maine! lotta kids on boogie bds in the ocean-but luckily no shark attacks---brian o

I was in the NEK on the 2nd and 3rd.
