For you community's information:

Our website on Gulmarg, the first major winter resort in the Himalayas:

www.skihimalaya.com

Gulmarg's French (Poma) designed gondola opened for year round operation on 28 May 2005.

The gondola's vertical lift of 1330 metres gives access to a huge expanse of wild and mainly off-piste powder terrain. There are also smaller lifts for intermediates and beginners.

With relatively few visitors expected this first winter, it should be one a season to remember!

If anyone has any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact me at peter@skihimalaya.com.

Kind regards
Peter Robinson
