Wow! That's big news!

Good location for the quad. What prompted the decison for the new lift?

I found a picture I took on 4/6/03 of the Highline:

Nice picture, the we just finished taking the chairs off of the line this morning. Now we are starting to rig the wire rope for removal.

The bottom/drive terminal, nine tower heads and 91 grips and hangers are from Bretton Woods East mountain f/g quad. The rest is new equipment from Doppelmayr/CTEC.

Yeay....

I knew getting that season pass for next year was a good idea. Great place even if I have to drive an extra 40 minutes from sundown. Definitely blows a lot of CT's areas away. Only 7 more months to go....
Way to go butternut....
Yeah, did I say, I love Butternut?

Great news, particularly after such a difficult season.

For my 2004-2005 pass I was considering Jiminy or Berkshire East instead of Butternut. I have had a Butternut pass for at least 5 seasons, whenever they started the $199 deal.

I tried Catamount, the Beast and Jiminy. Great Places but with the news of the new lift I am buying my pass at Butternut.

That lift will really keep things moving!

What happens if no one buys it? Does it just end up in the woods like some of the other old lifts at Butternut? If thats true would it be possible to get a hold of one of those chairs. Ive always wanted a old chair for a porch swing, it would be awesome!
