I think you can't beat Atomic's SX series if you're into carving the tightest turns possible without sacrificing all terrain capabilities. I have the SX-7's. I am 5-10 and 135 lbs. They carve so easily and grip into anything. I race on them for my high school team and as some of you Connecticuters might know, the ice comes into play rather quickly at Mt Southington.

For boots: I'm getting Atomic Race 9's this summer

I ski on Volkl Cross V2. They are nice, brand new. 160s for me .
