OK,time to frighten the kiddies ! It's always interesting to see what someone looks like after corresponding/talking,and having a mental image.Usually it's a shock,eh ? I always enjoy seeing your ugly mugs in your avatars, and posts, but my work computer won't let me do anything 'fancy'.
This is me,and my wife Cindy,at the showing of Machstick's "Focused",11/7,Berkeley.From a local paper.

Yeah, definetely into computers ... software engineer by profession. Do most of my work in PHP these days, but not exclusively. On the VERY right edge of the pic, next to my main computer, you can barely make out another computer which is covered in skiing stickers. That's the SJ email server and web server for development. The production web server is at a colo in Florida taking up 1u of rack space... managed by my buds at Intercarve Networks.[addsig]
We have to fix our oil burner every month!! That's how I learned the "obscenities" of life...... "you god*^^* piece of Blank- Blanking S*^#!"
After having all that caffeine pumped into your brain I notice the "sleep aid delivery apparatus" (aka beer?) sitting on your desk.
Here is probably the only pic of me on the web. (I just hope I'm not deep linking even if it is from nelsap)
I'm the one in the middle between Betsy & JeremyD. also notice a younger version of Chris.....Pic taken back in the day when SJ was WPSF wait I don't even think SJ or WPSF was around????? Put it this way, I was 12 yrs. old then.....[addsig]
Yeh,I can even see the beginning of the beard on Chris.
"Yeah Baby,I must say I think all of us look extremely shaggable,if you know what I mean, hmmn"TURX.[addsig]

Well,MadRider maybe...? That's a total guess, based on how the avatar looks.
Otherwise PowderMaggot,although I don't think he/she would post their pic,as they're always,er,confrontational,and probably a skier.Or,ImaSnowboarder,for obvious reasons.Or the "OriginalSpin" dude.
OK,I give up...TURX.[addsig]

Wow Patrick! I forgot about that pic! No beard (goatee) then, and I think it was pre-WPSF.
A bit of history, SnowJournal.com was originally launched as WPSF.com., World Professional Skiing Federation. It was a left-over domain I had from a failed project that was supposed to replace the FIS. I didn't start the project, but I was the PR guy. It never really got off the ground. Anyway... the rest is history
Man...you and your lady look familiar. I wonder if I've seen you on the mountain somehwere, or maybe it's just that you posted your picture here before, I dunno. She looks like a handful but you look up to the test!

It would have been really cool to have met you,but I don't think so.Unfortunately I've only been in airports in the NE.When I was younger,I used to get that "you look familiar" a lot,I must have one of those faces I guess.

Well, mostly Cindy is an Angel, and, man can she dance up a storm.Which is how we met.Did you ever watch flailing dreadlocks in a Strobe light ? S'cool ! But sometimes I do drive her to distraction (so I do drive after all !)

Anonymous would be our old buddy Davev
Non,Monsieur Vaillancourt ? Vraiment ? So much for my guesses.
Patrick,I nominate you for SJ's Archivist/Librarian.Although it looks like that's what you're doing anyway.Good One Mate,TURX.[addsig]

To see and "feel" me go here:

The picture is placed as a background and for those with modems it will load in a few seconds. Take notice of the lift I am standing on. This Hall bullwheel is one of their earliest they ever made yet it still stands and its wheel... it still spins.
