Went up to vermont on Friday to check out colleges with Resort Management.... fun trip, driving through Franconia in NH was especially pleasing lots of snow, and it was actually snowing!!!! On Saturday we checked out Green Mtn. College.... wow whata school, and Killington looked skiable, must have been snow left over from there test. but god it looked good. After talking to some people at the mountain, I elarned that snow making might start at the end of this week - mid next week. Won't be long!!!! Think Snow!

Green Mtn is pretty well known for it's recreation/resort management programs as well as environemental studies. In fact GMC *used* to have a campus at Killington, but I don't think they use it anymore. Lyndon is most well known for it's meteorology and communications (TV) studies, but does have quite a good REc Mgmt program as well. Email or PM Jeremy (NELSAP) as he's a LSC grad (meteorology) who can probably give you some insight to student life at LSC.
Both Lyndon and Poultney are pretty isolated, but you've got good skiing nearby to get you through the long, dark, & cold VT winters. Keep up posted.[addsig]
