Throwing this out for some improvised market research...
Would you be interested in purchasing a season pass that would be good for EVERY major ski area in the US? How much would you realistically expect to spend on such a pass?
Sounds like a great idea. Might it not be better to have something like a Master 10 card though. You could use this card at all areas for 10 trips. Find the average cost of 10 ski trips in the country and then give a 10-20% discount for having the "10 card" People could always buy more than one "10 card" (kind of on the same idea as a phone card.)
For illustration purposes- lets say that the average cost of a day of skiing is $50
10 trips would be $500 at 20% off skiers would pay $400, at 10% off they would pay $450.
Maybe cards could be sold in increments of 10 with a higher percent discount being given for the more days bought. [addsig]

given that a lot of the bigger resorts can charge around $1000 for a single season pass, i'd say realistically i'd expect such a pass would go for at least that much.
what would i pay for such a pass? given the amount of ski days i normally do a year (12-15) and the places i usually ski (non-resort areas), i'd never spend more than $500.
would i buy such a pass even if it was $500? no. too much of a gamble that i'd even spend that much money on lift tickets given where i ski and how often i'd ski. besides, what if i got hurt on my 3rd day out and couldn't ski the rest of the season.[addsig]
