Really worth checking out!
Vintage Cranmore
Excellent shots of the Skimobile, and rare video of the Cranmore Poma!
Bonus 30 seconds of a double chair at Mt. Snow at the end.

Makes me want to think living back then were simpler times. As far as lifts, the Skimobile looked like a workout. Skis off, then jump on and off with skis in hand. Climb stairs to the upper one. That thing must of been maintenance job security. I loved the snowmobiles they showed. Were those Tucker snowcats, or Thiakol mabey? The one scene shows the driver flying down the hill. Then he cranks through the base area with people all around. Then does a little spin out. You wouldnt see workers drive like that today.(at least in front of a camera at the lodge) On the Mt Snow C/S chair, you can see how those take a big bounce and swing when loaded. The one at Bousquet is just like that.

the ski car lift was cool, as was the old snowmobile, and the sleigh tow lift

This Dearborn fella had some high quality film
Saw the entire film this time. That one gal could easily turn em with njskibabe!
Recommend the 1958 White Mtn film which has a bunch more summer Skimobile action plus audio

I noticed the "sleighmobile" had Dearborn's stenciled on it. Did he have an interest in the Cranmore ski area? I wonder what year they shot that footage, about '60-62? I have to go back and look at it closer. Neat stuff.

Two other videos on that site (I didn't get audio):
White Mt. Trails 1958 include Skimobile (midway) and Wildcat gondola (end) summer rides.
Action Film Florida and Lake Placid last 2 min. bobsled.
