I dont think Snow Valleys lodge is there. I walked through it in the late 90s. I think it was raised by the guy who was trying to re-open the place a few years ago. The lodge in the photo is an open area. I had to post it. It looks like a haunted house. It led me back to another thread. I found pictures of the main chair at the place. It had ads on the back of the chairs like another topic I once started here.
As I look at the picture again, I think that may be a magic carpet in front of the buildings?

Yep, I noticed the magic carpet, too.
I don't recognize the area, but you're right about that lodge. It's creepy.

That's an odd picture. Cllearly abandoned lodge but a magic carpet; a fairly modern convenience. Makes me think its an area that was owned by another area but then closed.
Timberside - pretty sure no magic carpet
Crotchd - closed too early & no lodge
Brodie - Maybe? for the tubing thing?
My guess though is Haystack, lower lodge?
That is correct. I dont know if anyone noticed, but I noticed after posting the bigrock2012 on the bottom.
Here is another lodge photo from this year.
Also a picture of the double chair. Lots of signs on the chairs and towers. I talked about this sigh thing on a lost valley topic.

It was neither abandoned nor haunted during the day when I was there in Feb. 2010. The 1st floor had the cafeteria, the second floor was a large dining area and the top floor had offices for the ski area and possibly the turbine operations. Big Rock Trip Report 2/16/2010
Some better shots of the lodge in this YouTube video. Big Rock Video __________
