Two things made me think of this topic. Bousquet19's post on the "How Many New Ski Areas Did You Ski" thread and; I'm in Colorado right now and this weekend last year I skied 6" of fresh powder at Araphoe Basin. A-Basin closed 2 weeks ago so I won't be skiing tomorrow and Bear Creek wasn't even open yet on Christmas where I usually ski with very uncrowded conditions Christmas night. So that is two ski areas that I didn't get to this year due to the bad snow year. In addition, people like ski-it and joshua segal have already skied every area in New England and New York so it's hard for them to add new ones.
This season I skied 24 days at 18 different ski areas.
1. Killington, 1 day
2. Okemo, 2 days
3. Stratton, 1 day
4. Ski Big Bear, 2 days
5. Camelback, 1 day
6. Elk, 1 day
7. Magic, 1 day
8. Mt. Snow, 3 days
9. Bromley, 1 day
10. Gore, 2 days
11. Whiteface, 1 day
12. Dynamite Hill, 1 night
13. Jack Frost, 2 days
14. Berkshire East, 1 day
15, Sno Mountain, 1 day
16. Solitude, 1 day
17. Snowbird, 1 day
18. Powder Mountain, 1 day
Even in this bad snow year 24 days is a record for me. I don't know if 18 areas is. How many different areas did you ski or ride this past season?
42 days I'm pretty sure that comes up to which sadly I think is a record setting season for me... even though it's the first time since about 2004 I didn't ski in April.
A big 4 plus two X-C. But I can only blame myself and not the weather.
1. Mount Sunapee, NH
2. Bradford, MA night.
3. Crotched Mountain, NH
4. Ragged Mountain, NH
It's great to hear about the wide variety of places people went. Like out in B.C., Montana. Idaho and such.

A grand total of one: Crotched mountain. I finished up my last year of school (while working full time), and, on top of that, it wasn't much of a season for snow. Here's to a better season next time around.

Geesh, it's hard enough to remember when there was snow...now, I'm expected to remember where I skied? I'll try:
Snowmass 4 days
1/2 day Aspen Highlands, 1/2 day Aspen Mt. (same day)
Sunapee 2 times
Sugarbush 1 time
Okemo 2 times
Quechee 1 time
Middlebury 1 time
Burke 2 times
good topic i love seeing where other people have skied!
Ski Sundown 39(4 times at nite)
Killington 9
Sunday river 3
Catamount 2
Butternut 1
Wildcat 1
Bradford 1 (nite)
Nabosha Valley 1
Ski ward 1
Mount Southington 1(nite)
Attaish 1
I skied between one and six days each at the following ten ski areas: Red River NM, Taos NM, Steamboat CO, Beaver Creek CO, Copper Mtn CO, Seven Springs PA, Timberline WV, Saddleback ME, Sunday River ME, Mt Abram ME.
Question for you all: is it better to ski many days at fewer ski areas or fewer days at many ski areas?
Not that many. Notice no areas from out west which is not normal for me. First time in about 20 years I did not get out west. Starting about a month later then usual (mid Dec) and finishing a month earlier then usual (mid Mar) didn't help either. (actually ended up eating some pre bought tickets). Next year figures to be much different.
1. Attitash, 1 day
2. Okemo, 2 days, 1 night
3. Stratton, 1 day
4. Ski Big Bear, 2 days
5. Black Mountain of Maine, 1 day
6. Elk, 1 day
7. Magic, 1 day
8. Mt. Snow, 1 day
9. Bromley, 1 day
10. Gore, 1 day
10a. North Creek Ski Bowl, same evening
11. Whiteface, 1 day
12. Dynamite Hill, 1 night
13. Sno Mountain, 1 day
14. Middlebury Snow Bowl, 1 day
16 days, lowest # in ten years. 3 of them were on a white ribbon of death in early December.
Terrible season, although I enjoyed the skiing thoroughly. Except Stratton, where I paid more than the walk-up window rate.
1. Mount Snow - 33 Days
2. The Canyons - 2 Days
3. Deer Valley - 2 Days
4. Killington - 1 Day
5. Park City Mountain Resort - 1 Day
6. Snowbasin - 1 Day
The greatest number of different ski areas I've been to in a season since prior to my kids being born! Can't wait for next season when my oldest starts the Mount Snow race team and I get to travel around to areas in Southern VT/Eastern NY that I haven't been to in many cases in 15 years or so!
Here's my 20, a new record for me that I don't expect to break (or really care to break, but it made a tough season a bit more fun):
Massanutten VA - minimal trail options but, hey, it was Day #1 !
Stratton VT
Timberline WV
Whitetail PA (x4, incl a rainy weekday where I was one of 2 customers
Roundtop PA
Spring Mtn PA
Wisp, MD
Belleayre NY
Whiteface NY - with trackbiker, rickbolger and the Jersey Boyz
Oak, NY
Butternut MA
Snowshoe WV (x2)
Liberty PA
Bryce VA
Canaan Valley WV
Bousquet MA
Attitash NH
Black NH
Wildcat NH (x2)
Loon NH
Woody

While I appreciate the accolades from Trackbiker, I just want to set the record straight. I have only paid & skied all the public open areas in New England, that's Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. To ski all the areas in New York would be impressive, but my personal total there is 1.
