Well yesterday I thought the conditions at Sunday River were real good considering the heat wave of 2 weeks ago. But today at Loon they had condition that were so good that if I hadn't skied them myself I wouldn't believe it. They had about 20 runs open with loose and frozen granular till around 11:00 then it softened into sweet sping corn. But that isn't the amazing part which is most runs have side to side coverage with a 6" to 24" base. I had a free ticket but I would have gladly paid what they are charging for those conditions. Not to say that there aren't any thin and brown spots and narrow passes but you just straight line the side with the most snow and voila your back on wide open turning terrain. So if you don't have any thing to do for the next 3 days they are staying open thru Tues. the 10th. Now on to Wildcat next Sat. for Yahoo wknd they are looking to reopen for next wknd.

Vary accurate report remski! I too found the conditions just fine for Spring skiing. Sorry I didn't get a chance to hook up with you on the mountain. The conditions today were just about like they were two weeks ago. Their additional snowmaking this past week did improve some of the trails. It was interesting to ride up with some of the numerous visitors from the UK.
