MSR to Shutdown
I'm really disappointed about this, I get quite a bit of topos from there because its more detailed then bing and google maps.

That stinks...I liked getting watermark free topos there.
I do think Acme Mapper is superior though.

Thanks for the advance warning, Watatic Rox - I've got to print lots of maps between now and May 1st! And thanks for the alternative link, Rocket. Acme Maps seems better for panning and zooming, and possibly the maps are better. But they won't print 11x17s and won't print the scale which is needed for our Design Challenges. Not to mention for hiking.
Well, never mind about needing the scale for Design Challenges. Nobody ever took my advice to measure the lifts and calculate the pitch!

We may need to have some volunteers to save images of lost ski areas. There is imagery on msrmaps that is not on Google Earth.

That's a cool site, thanks for the link. I have been missing Topomaps.com, this one is even better.

I volunteer (of course). I assume you're talking about the 1998+/- black and white photos. I can e-mail the file names to NELSAP. Is there a better way?
NELSAP has quite a few already; do you want to send me a list of others you need?

On AcmeMapper, these are accessed via the "DOQ" button.
