Posted: Feb 24, 2012 - 2:40 AM GMT I'm depressed with winter and have yet to be on skis. Hard to justify renting a car ever since I became a snow snob I love tree's but it looks like most gladed runs in the northeast (in bounds) are closed.... though Jay Peak says they are 100% open. Can anyone tell me if you can actually ski in the woods right now? |

Posted: Feb 24, 2012 - 12:46 PM GMT Thanks for the reports. I was wondering about this myself. Does anyone know how much snow is in the Pemi wilderness? It's snowing here on Cape Cod right now, but there won't be enough to ski on. I'm afraid that most of my downhill days are behind me what with the exacting toll that travel takes and my lack of accomodations in the mountains. That tree skiing shot makes me rather sad. |
