All news media in Greater Boston is reporting that last night a young adult (19) fell from the chairlift at Ski Ward in Shrewsbury and was taken to Umass Medical, but did not survive.
There are some reports that he had a seizure of some kind on the chairlift and then fell.
WBZ radio reports there is no mechanical problem with the chairlift.
I believe Ski Ward only has one chairlift and it does have a safety bar on each chair...

A fellow student said that he saw the deceased have a seizure, but that was not collaborated officially. He hit his head on the icy slope and died.
