Posted: Jan 05, 2012 - 1:58 PM GMT All news media in Greater Boston is reporting that last night a young adult (19) fell from the chairlift at Ski Ward in Shrewsbury and was taken to Umass Medical, but did not survive. There are some reports that he had a seizure of some kind on the chairlift and then fell. WBZ radio reports there is no mechanical problem with the chairlift. Posted: Jan 05, 2012 - 3:11 PM GMT A fellow student said that he saw the deceased have a seizure, but that was not collaborated officially. He hit his head on the icy slope and died. |
