U.S. skiers are looking very good right now, but it's early in the long season. Lots can happen before it ends. As some of us sadly remember, the Red Sox had the pennant and the World Series wrapped up last June. Let's hope the U.S. can keep up the good results.
Lindsey Vonn sweeps the board: One million hourly wage
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
If it's not private anymore works as desired, may be at least financially Lindsey Vonn on the first few weeks of the 2011/12 ski season, do not complain. With its five wins and a cash prize of 165,000 francs, it is the great Abräumerin.
165,000 francs in five races for nearly nine minutes driving time corresponding to an hourly wage of around one million francs. As Roger Federer could even be jealous. The tennis players do have much higher prize money than the alpine ski racer, but they are longer on the court. Skiing is one of those sports where short working worth. The shorter the labor input, the higher the reward ...
What's more, that is charged in most places, the prize money (hard) francs, up to now, all previous World Cup stages. For the first time will be paid in euros on the next two host cities in Val Gardena (men) and Courchevel (women). Lindsey Vonn earned 165,000 francs, with more than twice as much as the next best Viktoria Rebensburg (74,000). As a Swiss woman with the highest prize money is Dominique Gisin of 26,000 francs to book, just ahead of Fabienne Suter (20,000) and Lara Gut (18,000).
For men, leads the two-time season winner Ted Ligety the Money rankings with 95,000 francs before Marcel Hirscher (75'250) and Aksel Svindal (62,500). This is followed by the Swiss Didier Cuche (54'200), Beat Feuz (52,000) and Sandro Viletta (40,000). For "Punto" Viletta the more current than in his entire career together.
According to the Nets’ website, Prokhorov is the principal owner of the NBA team. “Mikhail is passionate and, in addition to basketball, enjoys windsurfing, jet skiing, heli-skiing and kickboxing. He also serves as President of the Russian Biathlon Union,” the site says.

To take that one step further, assuming Lindsey won by a total of a second, then by not working that extra second she made 91,000 francs, which works out to an hourly earning of negative 327,600,000 francs per hour. What's a franc anyway?

APA. U.S. ski superstar Lindsey Vonn has cleaned up in an interview broadcast on Sunday in the ORF broadcast "Sports Sunday" with some of the rumors that surround her. The 27-year-old, this year it was five-time winner of season also hinted that they would definitely still go to their home World Cup 2015 in Vail.
Vonn had to read about, among other things of possible liaisons with a 16-year-old student that she had attended a school dance, with football star Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos or the alleged divorce dispute sum of $ 4,000,000. "It's fun to read something like that. I can only laugh. That's not true, I do not know where they come from the information. I know who I am and what direction I go in my life. I'm Single" Vonn told the ORF interview.
Tebow, whose winning gesture she had imitated after her first victory on U.S. soil, see it primarily as a model. "He is a comeback kid and my team are the Denver Broncos, because I'm from Colorado," said Vonn, who is certainly aware of the downsides of their prominence.
The conversion from Thomas Vonn, who also served as her coach, is back in the lap of the U.S. team was not so difficult for them to also help her family very much. Your sister should come to Europe for about a month, then Vonn will help out brother. Vonn is also happy about the reconciliation with Maria Riesch-Höfl: "Since we were young we were always there for each other."
After their perfect start to the season - five wins in six races - they would certainly not talking about a possible overall victory. "Sure it was a good start, but there are still many races. You have to focus every day." That it has already given a total of eight U.S. wins, they are proud of the strong team. "Our team is really great at the moment, with Ligety, Bode Miller and Julia Mancuso, we are super mood."
Tebow has had a very good run, but more attention should be paid to Preter, the kicker, for this win. Field goals of 59 and 51 yards aren't gimmes, especially with no time left.
