You might want to speak to the management of Hunter. They bring out 50+ of these at the start of every season. I suspect they probably have even more they aren't using, and most likely other models are around the mountain as well. They've got a lot of random older tower guns (including ones that look similar to your pic).
Every area has a gun that might need to go into a museam. Hunter did like those quads. Only worked well near the base. They take more pressure to run than the SMI Highlands and Boynes they use. Thank Herman from HKD for the fast downturn of those airhogs.

I usually see them halfway up where they're trying to cover the 7th Ave/Broadway area in a hurry early season and need more guns, or over on Hunter One where there isn't enough in fixed equipment. (As we all know, they have a huge amount of air capacity anyway.).
Yes Hunter has about 80 Qwads from the 60s and use them all over the place the guns are all in mint shape and get them open qwick with a good base. Some times ya got to do what ya got to do! A day lost skiing can be a big hit on the totel season of lost skiiers to the resorts bottom line.
David is very happy with getting the jump on the New York market frist!!

I pulled a snow maker out of my dads attic. He got it used in the mid 1960's. Aluminum 'head' on tripod. "LARCHMONT LEXINGTON MASS" "STRATOJET" "SN1 - 2". Has a swivel 'gun' with 2 or 3 nozzels. Swivel 'gun' says "BUCKNER" "630". Is anyone still interested? The snow maker is now in TEXAS !, by way of Kentucky & Virginia...can email photo's. Doug Reed
