Just got in from skiing at Mt. Snow, First run
lift No. 9 down Upper Overbrook to Canyon, Canyon to Ul Blancho Gulch, Run 2 then to No. 11 lift up to the summit, went down Fallen Timbers lots more snow there, about 5 inches, very windy at the top.
Run 3 down Plummet, same conditions as Timbers but very grippy underneath the snow, was not a yippie! We decided to bag the Face and head back to Main mountain, to lift 11 back up to ski Run 4 down to Lift line 7 Shootout to Sundance great snow on skiers right and untracked! Then back to lift 11 for Run 5 to the top again and wind blowing harder and that kind of snow that hurts your face. We decided to take a run down Sunbrook to Beartrap lift, it was ok, up at top was like these little whales of snow from the wind, that was fun doing jumps on them. And the wind in your face, I would say blizzard conditions. Took Beartrap lift up and opted for Carinthia over to Run 6 Titanium, I really do not enjoy that part of the mountain, they have some great tricks over there and it was fun doing the big whales they made. But all in all it was a great powder day. Any steam left! After that run we decided to do one more under lift Heavy Metal,Run 7 Narrow gauge that was all fresh tracks to but again to flat. Life is good! You tired yet? Then we headed back over to the no. 11 lift to the top to take a break. Umm fresh made Chocalate CHip cookies and coffee, had to go in an refuel. Thats it 20 min break, back to the skiing, we decided to do Ridge, buy then there was even more snow building up, Run 8 it was real good, and again first tracks on skiers left followed the fall line all the way down, then cut over to Charlies Chase then back to No. 11, to ski Run 9 down Upper Exhibition which I was totally blinded, but since I know the trail was not a problem, then we headed over to Ego alley from there that was also untracked on skiers left right under the lift, then cut across to Standard to No. 9 lift. Run 10 down Snowdance cut through the woods to Overbrook then to the lodge. I was skiing on Volki Mantra 175 cm which made the day even more enjoyable. See you on the hill tomorrow. We started at 9 am and finished by 12, it is still coming down and should be another powder day tomorrow!
