Ok, gang! Heres the third installment of Blue Bump updates.
Here we go...
-Season Pass lowest prices of the season have been extended untill Oct. 30th! If you're intrested, get to it before they go up!
-Fall Foliage Rides are still going on! Only $2 for as long as you want! You could ride the chair up and down all day if you really wanted to! Walk up, ride down. Ride up, walk down, or ride up and down! Do whatever you like!
-Trails have been mowed and are ready for snow to be made on!
-Snowmaking system is ready to go!
-Snowmaking lines on Big Blue have been moved to skiers right to better suit the wind that used to push the snow back at the guns after it was blown. This was done to also accomodate snowmaking on Beers Bluff.
-Beer's Bluff has not yet been cut. It will be open at some point this season. Things are extremely busy at the hill and they may not get around to trimming it untill after the season has begun.
-If weather permits, we could see a mid-late november opening, rather than the usual mid-december opening.
-Mini Magic Carpet has been moved adjacent to the skiers left of the Big Magic Carpet.
-Begginers area, re-named "Green Monster", now has its own snowmaking system and NEW LIGHTING.
-New trail ,"Walsh's Way", a short cutover trail from the top of the beginner area to the bottom of "Tropie" has been cut and ready for action.
-A new college pass is being offered! $99 for unlimited skiing and riding. No blackouts!!!
-Website is being frequently updated with more information!

-A opening to Beer's Bluff has been cut from the top of Big Blue to make the trail more accesible once it is skiiable.
-Some hidden, unmarked glade preparation is underway, but you didn't hear that from me!!!
-Lesson Packages and Programs are on sale!
-Summit Chair has been repainted and outfitted with some new miscellaneous parts. The chair is in the best condition its been since its installation.
-If weather permits, we could see a mid-late november opening, rather than the usual mid-december opening.
A nice thought but a bad bet. BH doesn't get semi-reliable cold weather until at least late December (and in some winters, never). If they blow snow in November most of it will melt down the hill.
