The yellow double at Nashoba Valley stands out. It'srumored to be coming down, thought I haven't seen any confirmation.
It was supposed to. They were selling chairs from it about a month ago. I got my name on the list, but haven't heard anything since, except that it was moved back. I'm hoping that list still exists because those are sweet chairs!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that chair the double chair from Horn Pond Mountain in Woburn, MA? Pretty sure it's a carlevaro-savio.

Painting has begun on lifts #11 (Grand Summit Express -- high-speed quad) and #9 (Canyon Express high-speed quad) at Mount Snow in southern Vermont. According to resort spokesman Luke Stafford, the terminals on the Grand Summit Express will be painted black, while the lift towers themselves will most likely remain blue.
Lifts #2 (Nitro Express high-speed quad) , #7 (Sundance Triple), the Canyon Express, and #19 (Sunbrook Quad) will also be painted black, including the terminals and the lift towers.
Representatives from Poma Lifts will be at Mount Snow later this summer to begin installing the "bubble," a plastic and metal roof, that will enclose the mechanics at the bottom of the Grand Summit Express
Thats a same they are enclosing it. I know it will make maintenance easier but it was the last one in the east with the style of the old Yan HSQ. They have a unique and dare I say "stylish" look to them. Yan's may have had a dubious safety record but in the style points they were tops!!

Ahh....yes.....reminds me of the good 'ol days of Pico, 'The Friendly Mountain'.
Wasn't there last season. Did they paint the Golden Express gold? That's a first...
