Puxatawny Phil or not, 2006-7 may go down as the year without winter. While I remember many snowless winters akin to this one, this winter is the first in the post-snow making era (that I can remember) that had no significant snow-making weather before late-January.
Well,no matter what Phil says,February is starting out pretty darn good here in Mi.High's in the single digits the next few days,lake effect up the ying yang,and blizzard conditions.
The way this winter started my bet is that it goes out like a lion and we're skiing well into April.It all seems to balance out in the end,I'd like to see one of those "global warming" scientists come stand out here right now and give a speech! Yee Ha
