I flew out of Logan Airport a few days ago, and I noticed a few ski areas soon after takeoff. I'll try to describe what I saw, and where, and hope that one of you will have the answer for me.

Location: North of Boston...we flew out (north, northeast) over the ocean, and circled back(west) inland. There was a river that emptied into the ocean...and a bit northwest of the delta, was the first ski area.
The second area was a bit west of that. They were both in fairly well poplulated areas (or, at least I think those were houses that I saw!).

Description: The most obvious physical aspect of the first ski area (the one near the river) that I saw was that it had four identical trails on the right hand side...right next to each other. They looked like four fingers of a hand...the fingers held tightly together, and short.

So, who knows what I was looking at? (OOOOh, I HATE ending my sentences with prepositions!)

MissDaEast,

Ending a sentence a prepositon with?
That is something up with which we, at SnowJournal, are not going to put!

The first one was by the river was definitely Bradford and the next one was very likely Nashoba

Google map links to both: Bradford and Nashoba

Wow! That was fast! Thanks, Tedede...that's what it was...on both counts.

LOL, Woody! ...holdover from a MEAN (and WRONG) eighth grade teacher!

bousquet19 post reminds me of my favorite grammar rules:

"A preposition is a word you should NEVER end a sentence with."
