Decent snowstorm in progress...

What was going to be 2-4" for Glens Falls-Saratoga is now expected to be 8-14", Winter Storm Warnings now posted. It's a decent and surprising storm in progress, but just what we needed to cover up the solid ice on the ground. JD

we returned home from a very windy day Mt Ellen to 6” at home, about 30 miles north. really good XC this evening before it got too dark. what about the storm for Wednesday? Another event like today would help heal wounds from January.

Oak Mt. is reporting over a foot. Wed. night looks like a foot for CVT.

I've seen modeling showing 2' for total snowfall accumulation from both today's storm and the one on Wednesday for Northern New England. Unfortunately the first storm is mostly rain for Central and Southern New England.

Nice reports coming off of Sno Country this morning.  Woods may start coming back into play real soon.  Max Pass weekend coming up.

  • All of Vermont looks great for the Wednesday storm. Southern looking a little better, assuming the current 10-12" prediction now. I'll be riding Stowe Thursday morning. If roads are okay, I'll be getting up to Bolton Wednesday night for some night riding.
