You rock Remski. As per usual your photos are awesome. (I know we've had this discussion before and I don't blame ya)
Yesterday was definitely the day. With today's sustained 63+ mph winds I wussed out.
So ur estimate on length, vertical and anything left for next week?

With this weather I don't know if they'll be enough left for turns next wknd.
My guess of vert 600', length 300 yards and at least 4' base

What is the time lapse between the the second picture and the fourth picture?  It looks like some of the remaining snow piles at Wildcat melted out during that time.

    Thanks for the pics Remski.

Over at Wildcat those look to be roofs, rocks or water maybe.

From what I see on the cam the snowfields are looking doable right now. I've skied them with less than that. So you may want to think about going for it. Just saying.

Mount Snow next week if there opened and a day at Kmart in May to end the season.

Ski Conditions Report: A detailed report describing the snow conditions on the mountain the day of your visit. Skiers should become familiar with the following snow surface descriptions: Ice: Packed Powder, Slush: Packed Powder, Frozen Granular: Packed Powder , Packed Powder - A thin covering of snow over bare earth.

I'll likely ski on Washington after the Inferno race this weekend.
Also thinking about Wachusett for Sunday, any thoughts what conditions will be like?

There's lots of snow on Wachuset. I was there Monday. It was closed but a few skiers wee climbing and skiing.. It's supposed to be warm this weekend, maybe in the 60s, so it probably will be soft and wet. The best bet might be to ski early, then enjoy the sun on the deck. I understand there was a band there last weekend, bur not a big crowd.

Wachusett was skiing excellent on Sunday afternoon.  Mostly firm and fast but still very edgable.  Pretty much still edge to edge with a few bare spots sprinkled in.  I live about 20 minutes away and I doubt they have lost much snow so far this week.  It only rained by me for about an hour yesterday and then switched back to a snow mix.  My lawn had a dusting this morning so I imagine wawa go a little more than that at elevation.  I am considering giving it a hike tomorrow and will report back if I do.

Thanks for the tips. I'm watching the forecast because there may be too much rain to make it worthwhile.

Gotta think this quote sums up the season.(at least for me)

Overall we got snow, we got cold, the base is there, things that make a season good, but the timing this year has been awful.  I cancelled several potential trips for weather related reasons and it looks like its happening again this weekend.

Give it one more try next weekend then store the equipment.  May have to peak into airfare out to Co as they are getting snow now. WP is still open.

My plan is Killington on Saturday and Okemo on Sunday. If you have a season pass from an area that’s already closed it’ gets you 1/2 price at Okemo!

    Sugarbush on Thursday. Powder day?

I'm staying overnight near Stowe tomorrow and Thrursday nights, so maybe I'll earn some turns. Stowe backcountry?

Sunday also looks like a possibility for wherever has a good deal. Wildcat?

I'll be at Okemo tomorrow to burn a voucher, and hopefully Mt Snow Thursday, if lack of work continues as planned. Like NES13, hoping for a powder day on Thursday.

I might ski Gore on Saturday. I'm waiting for them to decide if they will be opened next weekend. They should know by this afternoon.
