... and Bousquet purchases Haystack/Hermitage.

As long as we're discussing purchases and mowing our lawns.

Hard'Ack purchasing Stowe, that's a good one. I'm pretty sure the Stowe annual revenue is exponentially higher than the city of Saint Albans (owner of Hard'Ack).

Jiminy has Bromley and Cranmore. Butternut and Otis have Blandford. Beast has Catamount. The last stand alone in the Berkshires is Bousquet. Still for sale. Also Mt Greylock rope tow club, if you want to count that? I wonder who or if anyone is looking into Bousquet?

And Ciscokid buys Cab and promptly makes plans to restore the Doppelmayr and Hall t-bars. Then he gets a grader to restore some beauty to the Cab back country so it no longer looks like strip mining. :D Finally, he masters the art of Cab’s legendary Bloody Mary’s and happily bartends.

    True story.

I should add: I then buy Boyne and gift Ciscokid, Ted, and the rest of the SJ gang lifetime passes to Boyne and Boyne Highlands.

Except for Nubs. The gang still has to pay walk up pricing to ride the floating bullwheel Poma chair.

Someone else will have to buy Nubs. ;)) ;)) ;))

From what I saw in the last two season Caberfae has lots of new pine saplings planted in the area that was stripped. But they are planted in a way that it will be Ski trails

Let's see ... How do you make no money operating an online forum dedicated to skiing and ski history?

Start with two million dollars?  Maybe more.

I think I'll stick with vintage ski patches and antique Christmas lights.

Oh this is going to be a classic thread reminiscent of the good 'ol sj1 days.

Enroute to skiing his formidable competition he had forgone purchase of at Holiday Valley to gain western NYmarket share Ibrake4tbars snatches up local small but mighty Big Creek for his own personal playground. And for marketing purposes Ohio throws in "the other Mad River".

Ted Reilly not to be outdone , snaps up Nubs Nob and installs the worlds first 9 passenger high speed Poma chair replacing the classic floater at which point Ibrake4tbars says to himself," I declare war!" I'm calling Lonnie at Bohemia and making an outrageous billion dollar offer. He installs 10000 HDK snowmakers and announces year round skiing after setting a record 50 foot base with lake effect as icing on the cake, a helicopter landing pad, and employs world war 2 year round bombers into the nearby newly built Bohemia airstrip. He adds a dozen classic Hall tbars in strategic locations and an escort service driving the Abba bus.

Ciscokid buys Whitecap for a Song of 1.5 mill and rebuilds all the Hall chairs to brand new specs and enhances his portfolio by acquiring Indianhead, Big Powderhorn, Blackjack and BRULE!

It's gonna be a long silly season my friends

This coming July I understand that Ciscokid is shipping and installing a floating bullwheel Poma chairlift (from a defunct downstate New York ski area) in his flat backyard. That way he can enjoy the bounce of the bullwheel 365 days per year without that pesky trip up to Nubs.

I also understand that he had to do A LOT of selling this plan to his long-suffering wife for her blessing.

    True story.
