  • Cool!  Ski Brule is usually first to open in Michigan.

  • They also have a Doppelmayr t-bar on the other side of their hill!

Regarding the Hall t-bar, is theirs one of the inverted ones with the drive terminal at the summit versus the base?

No kudos for the early morning mid west correspondant , you cannot believe how I am punishing my wife

Only thing that would've made this lift corridor more perfecter would've been a Mueller t-bar alongside the other three!

Shoot, throw in a classic pomalift as well and voila!

  • I have some great memories skiing here in college. I remember driving down from Marquette for their first day open not realizing I had crossed from eastern time back into central and having to wait for an hour even though the ski area was only 30 minutes away. Very cool and rare hall center pole double on the back side as well.

Ah, that makes sense now; you can see the T-bar base terminal building and I think the haul rope, but no carriers or towers.

Seriously why are there three lifts for 5 trails in the Homestead area?

Yes that would be the chair. very cool ski area and I do miss the U.P.    I suppose Vermont will have to suffice.

  • You can see the Doppylmayr tbar on left on fri video11/17/17

    https://skibrule.com/brule-mountain/snow-conditions/
  • Wonder how often, if at all, those t-bars are ran?
  • I will probably find out in February hopefully I can go do IUP tour on the way back from Bohemia.

Basically I have three nights at Bohemia which are paid for and I just got email confirmation from whitecap Wisconsin saying I can get one more night of lodging for free after paying my deposit last year and with my white gold ski card skiing is basically ski free so if anyone wants to go To the UP for a week in February let me know
