Latest GFS run showing very strong system making landfall at NYC with a pressure of 936 millabars. Could bring hazardous flooding inland. Just keep an eye on it. September 11th. Its a ways out and will likely change but it looks like a doozy.

Keep an eye on it. Don't need another Houston that's why I posted the run. Long ways out but better to bring it to attention.

GFS now showing a mid-Key strike after a short voyage over Cuba. This may be the big one the Keys are long overdue for.

890 over Miami? That would be third strongest Atlantic hurricane and would be around 166 mph per Holland's 2007 hurricane pressure-wind model.  Good God.

Latest run of HMON is predicting a minimum pressure of 852 mbar while over the Florida Straight just before hitting the upper Keys. Lowest ever recorded Atlantic Hurricane was Wilma in '05 at 882.
