Here's my annual Memorial Day Weekend Katahdin snow condition update. It looks like there are still plenty of skiable gullies and chutes if anyone is adventurous enough! :D The first two photos are from the new national monument.

    Which will soon become the former national monument...but gorgeous pics nonetheless! Thanks. Would be a long haul for some short stretches of snow, but what an incredible place... Did the bugs leave any flesh on your carcass?

    Let's not start into the politics, but the monument isn't going anywhere...

    Plenty of bugs! They formed clouds around anyone brave enough to step outdoors and they don't care about bug spray
